Ok so I found out that last summer doing an online class while working full time as a Rock and Water Instructor didn’t work for me. So when the deadline for the class came in Nov. I worked really hard that weekend and managed to get half of the class done. They told me I could pay 75 bucks to get a 3 month extension, so I did it. Over christmas break I worked on it. I also didn’t want working on my history class to take away from my studies that I was taking in the Fall and J-Term, so I decided I would do all the assignments except the 2 book reports. I knew that it was an 80 point swing, but I’m not really much of a reader except for magazines and newspapers. So I turned in all of my assignments minus book reports on Feb. 3rd. About a week later I asked the professor when my grades might be posted. He said that I needed to turn in all of the assignments or I don’t get any grade. He said that the course policy was clearly stated that all assignments must turned in before a grade could be given to my school. So now it is over a week past the deadline and its looking like all of my work isn’t going to be given a grade. I called TUFW and expressed my “being pissed” I asked the lady what my options were. She said, “well I’m supose to tell you, you have no options, but I will give ya til the end of the week to send the 2 book reports to the professor”. Below is one of the assignments that I sent the professor. I knew there was no way that I could read both books in the week timeframe so I turned in somthing history related. I hope you enjoy

Eric Foner takes a look at the Republican Party that Abraham Lincoln belonged to. 1850 was a fundamental re-organization of the American political system. The South was mad at the North and the North was mad at the South. What made Lincoln different than other people? He was tall and honest? No his name was Abe. He came from a good solid family and trekked Indiana Kentucky and Illinois. His face shines on the pennies of today. Many say that Lincoln’s untimely death was actually one of the things that made him the best president of all times. He was taken out at the high point of his political career. So in his death the good things of Lincoln were remembered.

I believe that the world was originally created by God. And it was good, but through the fall of man, sin became grafted into our DNA. There was no hope, no way of getting around sin. Christ came down in man form to redeem his creation for the guaranteed penalty of death as a result of sin. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. This is a hard concept for humans to understand, but if Jesus just came down as 100% God then his blood wouldn’t have meant anything. Because by Jesus also being 100% man, that means that he had the potential to sin, but didn’t and by the spilling of his blood we are now saved because his blood was innocent. Also by him being 100% man it shows that he loved so much. He could feel everything while being on the cross; he became sin and a curse on the cross to set us free. There is going to come a time when Christ will return, whether that is Pre, Post, or Mid tribulation I don’t know. I believe that the bible is inerrant and the inspired word of God. And John 3:16 is correct by it saying that God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not die but have everlasting life. Becoming saved isn’t following a 5 step program. Being saved is putting your trust in Christ to be your source of strength, encouragement, and livelihood no matter the situation. All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. I do believe that a person can loose their salvation. Salvation is a heart condition. I would like to think of it as taking the total average of the heart and is that Good or Bad, Trusting in God or putting trust in the ways of the world. Now on to a more doctrinal statement. I also believe in the use of spiritual gifts. Such as speaking in tongues and prophecy when used in proper context that edifies the church. A lot of people have been hurt by the Church and Christians, so in what ever you do, remember that the people you interact with are people and that the best thing you can do is show and share the love of Jesus Christ
